Who we are
NaviGate is an innovative deep tech startup revolutionizing spacecraft navigation with its plug-and-play onboard system. Our technology enables autonomous orbit determination and guidance of satellites and constellations using a large variety of measurements, including GNSS data, radiometric observables, and more.
Our onboard system is designed to integrate seamlessly with satellite hardware, allowing for autonomous satellite navigation without ground inputs.

Enable Easy access to Autonomous navigation
Why: With the increasing number of satellites in orbit, relying on ground-based support for navigation and guidance operations will become economically and operationally unsustainable, especially for low-cost missions. Our goal is to minimize dependence on ground support and associated costs, while increasing accessibility to accurate navigation solutions.
How: Enabling autonomous navigation and guidance for satellites and constellations through a highly adaptable onboard software that analyzes the available data in real-time.
What: We develop an advanced onboard solution for autonomous satellite navigation and guidance, designed to seamlessly integrate with different mission architectures. Our approach is flexible with respect to the types of data typically used for navigation (GNSS, radio, and more).

NaviGate is a deep tech startup from Sapienza, University of Rome, and has been funded for realizing a Proof-of-Concept by Galaxia, the Italian Technology Transfer Hub on Aerospace, powered by CDP Venture Capital and Obloo.
